Renovating this 3,000 square-foot historic home was a great balance of honoring its past and adding practical updates for today. We carefully refinished all the original woodwork to keep that classic feel, and preserved the beautiful stained glass windows that really make the space unique. To improve the layout, we added two new bathrooms and a back deck, as well as wood shake siding to the back of the house for a fresh, yet timeless look. We also reworked the kitchen to create a more functional space, making sure it still felt true to the home's original charm. Every change was made with the goal of preserving the history while making it more livable for modern life.
